We just did exactly that for Dale and Karen Katzfey in Tipp City, Ohio. They wanted us to install a residential solar PV system on their roof, but they were concerned that the roof might need to be replaced in a couple of years. Once the solar PV system is installed, it gets much more complicated to fix or repair the roof. So we brought in our experts at OGW Roofing who inspected the roof. In this case, the best long-term solution was a roof replacement. Our roofing and solar teams were able to work out a coordinated schedule that got the Katzfey’s their roof and their residential solar system in days instead of weeks.
But the story doesn’t end there. The Katzfey’s son, Chris, decided it was time to go solar, so we sent our team to Fishers, Indiana, a suburb Indianapolis, to install a residential solar PV system for his family too. Could somebody check to see if Dale and Karen have any other kids? 🙂
