Done? Not exactly. This system is future-ready.
We have “finished” the installation of this 40,000 kWh residential system in the northern Miami Valley. The system is now running and doing its job of converting sunlight into electricity – and meeting our customer’s dual goals of energy savings and environmental stewardship.
This system is completely state-of-the-art, starting with the LG solar modules that are connected to the Enphase microinverters,which are linked to-well-the future since this system is ready for innovations that haven’t even hit the market yet.
LG NeON R
First are the 84 LG NeON R solar modules. After doing a cost/benefit analysis, we decided to install the 370 watt modules.
The LG NeON R modules are an industry leader in many ways. You can tell just by looking at them – there are no electrodes on the surface, which not only enhances the beauty of the unit, but also contributes to efficiency.
The LG NeON R has an industry-leading 25-year product warranty. It also has an industry-leading performance warranty that guarantees that your system will perform at a minimum of 90.8 percent after 25 years.
Finally, the LG NeON R has significant breakthroughs that enhance its output, meaning you need fewer panels to generate the same amount of electricity.
Enphase IQ7+
All of that is on the top side of the array – what you see from above. When you look underneath, you’ll find that we installed Enphase IQ7+ microinverters. These are also state-of-the-art components, partly because they are Ensemble-ready. What is Ensemble? It is a system that Enphase is rolling out that will allow a whole new level of functionality for any solar PV system, including the ability for grid-connected systems to stay online even when the grid is down.
We are extremely pleased with this new installation. We worked closely with our customer to get him exactly what he needed. He’ll be pleased with his choice for decades to come.
